These two have been trading insults since high school, and for one Sunday the football cooperated.

George opened with 32.1 from Jahmyr Hall and never really stopped. Stroud gave him 26.8. Metcalf added 27.4. By the late window he had the kind of total that usually ends arguments.

Tuscan just had McBride. Then Robinson. Then Allen. Every time George pushed, Tuscan answered with a bigger number, and the final margin of 6.5 flatters nobody — this was decided by one tight end having the best afternoon of his career.

Tuscan now leads the all-time series 8-3 and moves to 2-0. George moves to 0-2 and, based on the group chat, will not be taking questions.

Danielle won this game. Mike lost it.

That distinction matters. Danielle was steady — Barkley went for 31.2, Collins chipped in 20.9, and nothing about her afternoon required luck. She did what a 2-0 team does.

Mike left 34.2 points on his bench and lost by 4.6. He benched a starting running back on a short week for a matchup he described in the chat on Saturday as "obvious." It was obvious. He got it backwards.

Across two weeks Mike has now stranded 48.2 points on his bench. He is 1-1 with the seventh-best record and the third-best point total, and every conversation about him this season is going to start with a lineup he set himself.

This is his eighth season. He has never won the championship. The league has notes.

Rome Odunze was available on waivers eleven days ago. Nate spent most of his budget on him, took some abuse for it, and has now watched him score 34.6 in a game decided by 51.7.

Sam''s afternoon was worse than the score. Achane managed 14.2. Hill gave him 9.8. His bench outscored half of his starting lineup, which is the sort of thing that happens when a roster is built on players who were good three seasons ago.

Sam is 0-2 with 188.3 points, the lowest total in the league by a comfortable margin. Nate is 2-0 and has now won eleven of his last fourteen regular season games.

Marcus got 33.7 from Lamar Jackson and 28.8 from Chase and spent the fourth quarter watching a game he had already won.

Chris cannot blame his bench for this one — he left 6.8 points on it, the lowest figure in the league. He started the right players. They simply were not good enough. Jefferson''s 26.3 was the only performance that belonged in the same paragraph as Marcus''s starters.

Chris is 0-2 and has been outscored by 40.3 points. Marcus is 2-0 and has quietly built the fourth-best point differential in the league without anyone noticing.

Trey had the best individual performance of the game — Nacua went for 30.4 — and the best quarterback, and the lead for most of Monday night.

Then a late carry from Gibbs put Ola ahead by six-tenths of a point and that was the season''s cruellest evening.

Ola is 1-1 and has scored 257.2 points, fifth in the league, which suggests this was earned rather than stolen. Trey is 0-2 having lost both games by a combined 13.2 points. Nobody in this league is playing better while losing more, except George, who is doing it on an industrial scale.

Two teams scored fewer than 102 points and one of them is now 2-0.

Brandon has 199.0 points on the season. Eight teams have more. He has faced the two lowest opposing totals in the league and converted both into wins, which is either excellent scheduling luck or a level of cosmic favouritism that requires an investigation.

Priya, meanwhile, left 31.7 points on her bench and lost by 2.5. She is 0-2 despite a roster that looks a great deal better than her record.

Brandon will tell you 2-0 is 2-0. He is correct. The Daily Riot remains unconvinced.
